Dr. Veronica Blackham is in her seventh year as a Regional Mathematics Specialist for Idaho Educational Regions V and VI and currently serves as the Idaho Math Badging Project state lead. Her experience teaching and leading professional development on mathematics education has shaped her passion for the field. Veronica’s professional interests currently focus on supporting secondary mathematics teachers as they grow and incorporate changes to their systems. Dr. Blackham studied mathematics viable arguments in grades 4-12 for her dissertation study at University of Idaho. Outside of her professional endeavors, Veronica is a mother to two young children and enjoys embracing the beauty of Idaho by indulging in various outdoor activities with her family.
