About me
Dr. Steve Shropshire is a Professor of Physics at Idaho State University, where he has taught introductory through graduate courses for the last thirty-four years. His courses include teaching methods for physics and physical science, and a series of graduate courses designed for in-service high school physics teachers. He directs numerous continuing education programs, and a popular program of science demonstration shows, science activities, and teacher workshops for K-12 schools. He and his students visit over thirty schools each year impacting the education of over 1000 K-12 students each year. He has presented in schools all over Idaho, as well as Montana, Wyoming, Utah, Nevada, and Oregon.
