Mathematical generalization, the ability to identify patterns and extend them to broader contexts, is a cornerstone of mathematical reasoning. This interactive session will equip educators with practical strategies to cultivate this powerful skill in their students from the earliest years through fifth grade. Participants will explore strategies to foster deep conceptual understanding and promote the development of mathematical generalizations ensuring that mathematical reasoning underpins every lesson.
