Want to get students out of their seats and into their thinking? In this interactive, low-tech session, you’ll learn how to remix traditional math lessons into hands-on, discovery-based tasks using simple tools like whiteboards, wall space, and collaboration.

We’ll walk through how to transform a standard geometry lesson—like midpoint and distance formulas—into a guided exploration that lets students uncover the concept themselves. You’ll experience the task as a learner, then debrief the process and plan your own lesson remix.

This approach encourages mathematical thinking, student voice, and deeper understanding through meaningful, accessible tasks—not just notes and worksheets. Perfect for teachers looking to breathe life into their curriculum without needing new tech or expensive resources.
