Attendees will connect the 5 Practices strategies of Anticipating, Selecting, and Connecting student work with Building Thinking Classrooms anticipation guide for a lesson's goal. One of the strong teaching practices encouraged with Building Thinking Classrooms is using a "cheat sheet" to assure that students learn the intended targets for each lesson. Many tasks can go multiple directions - this session is intended to focus the goals of learning so the intended targets are the achieved targets.
